A question for ball python owners only!?
I was curious as to what the ball python owners thought about Zoomed's UTH for 10-20 gallon terrariums. I got one to use with a 20 gallon and will be testing it soon. (I want to have the temp right before my snake gets home.. I'll be buying at a Reptile Expo) Does it get to hot? Not hot enough? Do I need a thermostat? What do I need to do to get it to the correct temp? Any advice is helpful! Thanks!
I own over 100+ snakes from small to large and I do use uth's. But I pair them with a thermostat because you can't really control the heat radiating from the pad. So it can get to hot and cause burns on your snake's belly scales. If getting an uth get a thermostat to go along with it and have it set to the correct temp.
