Leopard Gecko's Won't Eat?
2 Leopar Geckos, Visionarium Terrarium [30x12x12 inches, long terrarium], so that's about 24 gallons for two female leopard geckos. I am sure that both are female, i've had several other people, including a herpetologist look at that. The warm side of their terrarium is 95 degrees alway, the cool side is 75 degrees. both sides have a moist hide, and the middle has a log tube thing.
They've both stopped eating, the herpetologist told me to use fluker's repta-aid and i've been feeding them that for about a week, but they won't eat crickets, canned crickets, or mealworms.
They aren't impacted, they both poo regularly. They don't fight, they even hide together.
The last time they actually ate was about two weeks ago. Even then they were only taking one or two of the canned crickets, every three days. They wouldn't eat at all for a week, so I started feeding them the repta-aid about a week ago.
everyone has the same type of problem with their leopard gecko this winter. there really is no problem. your geckos sense that it is winter and they kind of hibernate. they become sluggish and they eat less. i also have leopard geckos and they are also really sluggish and eats very little. do not worry, when spring comes, they will eat every worm/cricket you give them.
