What should I get for a ball python?
Ok, I know what I need, but I dont know what is good. What website would you recommend getting cage accessories from? What brands are good? What do you have in your terrarium? Thanks.
i have a california king snake, and in my house for him i have a wooden house like thing, its like a half circle thats hollowed out, (like a little tunnel) and i also have a heatrock, a LOCKING screen, meaning it snaps shut, and i used to have a dirt padding floor. you can also use shredded paper, sand, basically anything disposable. make sure you clean out its tank frequently. i do not have a Heat Lamp, however, because my snake is taken out frequently. you might want to get it used to touch, and get it used to being handled. but if your not going to take it out often, a heatlamp COULD possibly do you good. you would need a heat rock, or a heatlamp. whichever. any pet store has good options on supplies. keep your tank as un-cluttered as possible, so your ball python has sspace to roam. considering they get up to 4 -6 feet, An absolute minimal cage for an adult Ball Python (30-48 inches) would be a long twenty gallon (30x12x12 inches). the are VERRY good pets, but at times they can get a bit difficult, like a cat, or a dog. good luck && hope i helped (:
