Looking for a small reptile I could fit in a 10 or 20 gal cage, what are my health concerns?
What are te chances of getting a disease such as salmonella from a reptillian pet such as a chameleon, Bearded Dragon, snake, anole lizard, ect?
Are diseases such as salmonella airborne, or are their airborne diseases that I can get from a reptillian pet? I know enough to wash my hand before/after handling/cleaning/even touching the cage, but what are the chances of me getting a disease?
I don't yet have a reptillian pet, I'm just inquiring. =)

Leopard Geckos are very good pets, and you can fit one in a 10 gallon tank easily. Salmonella can only be caught by touching the fecal matter, then placing your hands in your mouth, eyes, etc. So it's always best, with any animal, to wash your hands after handling.
