is it ok to use medicated Reptile Sand for my ball python?
i just got it from the petstore because the other stuff was too expensive.and then i got home and set it up and my ball python is hesitant on going onto it.it is red medicated reptile sand.i read that some sand can be used and others cannot.thank you:D
will it hurt him.and is it ok for just a couple of weeks until i get paid again?
Sand is for desert animals. Ball pythons are tropical and need something which can hold humidity, like cypress, aspen, or Eco-Earth. You'll probably have shedding problems with sand.
