Heat Cable?
i was wondering if it were possible instead of using a rheostat or a thermostat that controls the output of heat the Reptile Heat Cable can put out, is it possible to use a light dimmer for it? Somehow wire it to the dimmer?
A rheostat is the same thing as a light dimmer. Just be careful hooking it up. I wired one wrong once and it started smoking as soon as I plugged it in. Always use care when playing with electricity! The last thing you want is to cause a fire. Good luck!
