Bearded Dragon shedding?
my bearded dragon hasn't shed om a while but when he did his tail and legs and possibly top of head never shed. i tried helping him by letting him swim around in hot water in the tub to soak and I've been spraying him with reptile relief every 3 days in case parasites. besides that he seems healthy and active, but this build up has been around for something like a month. Any way i can help him?
Definitely make it a warm bath, not hot. What I use to help my beardie, NIM, shed is a product made by Zilla called shed ease. It contains aloe and other great ingredients that keep his skin moist, help skin slough off, and keep him from looking so dry. I soak him weekly during his cage cleaning, and 2-3 times a week when he is actively shedding.
