Any input on humidifiers causing problems in a snake room (ie mold or mites)? room has other stuff in it too?
turning a room into a Reptile Room and bought a lager humidifier...im keeping it at 80% during shedding and its working great for the tank...just not sure what the effect on the room and items in it...Any ideas on a cycling time??? I know constant is best...but i dont want to grow mold or mites that could harm them
You can't get mites from running a humidifier.
During the winter I run a humidifier 24-7 because we have a blow heater that dries out our house. I've never had any problems with it but do watch closely for any signs of mold. My reptile room doesn't have mold-resistant drywall (though when we got to redo that room I'll have my husband install it).
