More Egg Incubator Info Below

How do I take care of a duck egg without an incubator?
My dad and I made a homemade "incubator" that has a hot spotlight above, creating light for the egg between 95 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit. I don't know what to do with humidity so I put water beside it so the water can evaporate or something. I turn the egg over twice a day.
Is what I'm doing for the egg enough for it to survive?
That sounds right. If you want more info, you can check a professional website. But that does sound right.
